Fall.

FALL. IS. HERE.
This is definitely one of my favorite times of the year.
The leaves are all different colors and the weather is perfect!
If only it would stay this wonderful until next summer...

Happy Monday!

I've got sunshine.

I hope to someday work on a campaign as inspiring as this.
Beautiful.

The Big Apple.

Last week I was in New York City.
And boy was it a great trip.
28 students from the BYU Ad program and our director, Jeff Sheets, headed to the big apple to attend Advertising Week. We attended ad conferences and seminars where we got to listen to many CEOs of agencies talk about different subjects within the industry. We also meet some pretty famous people including Russell Simmons, Spike Lee, and John Legend.
I learned so much from visiting agencies and talking to those who are
currently living the advertising world.
It definitely made me realize how much growth and opportunity there is within the industry,
and how excited I am to eventually be a part of it!

In addition to adweek, we had tons of fun exploring the city!
The weather was a little rainy, but we didn't let it ruin the trip.
 Biking in Central Park.
One of my favorite parts about the trip was spending a day with my dad!
He just happened to be in New York for work the same time I was there, so we were able to get together to have a daddy-daughter date in the city.
Love him.

One of my favorite ads in Time Square.

View from McGarryBowen agency.
Fantastic, isn't it?
m&m store is always a must.
Frozen Hot Chocolates = amazing.
It was a very eventful week and I already miss it.
See you next summer NYC?

Work work and MORE work.

Yep. This pretty much sums up how I feel today.
So much to do and so little time.
Is it really only Wednesday?
Bring on the weekend!

Ferris-wheels, cotton candy, tickets, funnel-cakes, sprinkled apples, and friends.
What a great weekend.

Summer fun.

This is what I missed while I was in London.

BYU Adlab stayed busy this summer in not only creating a music video for upcoming artist Kyle Andrews, but also in creating the world's largest water balloon fight-- ever.
Not only was it featured in Teen Vogue, but recently hit over 1 million views on You Tube.
I'd say they did a pretty good job!
Congrats!

A new beginning.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately.
I feel as though I have been in some kind of "rut" the past year, and I'm not sure why.
Don't get me wrong, this past year has been great and I wouldn't change anything, but I think it is time for me to get back on focusing on the deeper me.
Those things that make me who I am, what I love, and what I believe is most important.
One of my professors challenged us to take on this semester in figuring out and
flourishing those unique qualities that we each have.
I know I have them, I just need to pull them out again and polish them a little.
So, with that said, I am excited for this semester and what lies ahead in the future.
There is already so much that I am looking forward to, it makes me giddy inside.
I am surrounded by such great friends, and I feel so blessed to have a family who supports and love me.
It's gonna be a good year... I know it.

I'm inspired.

Missing Mitcham.

Today I sat in church thinking about how much I miss serving in the Mitcham Ward in England.
Everyone was so friendly and I couldn't get enough of the kids!
Each Sunday I was greeted with big hugs around my legs and smiling little faces.
They were my family away from home, and I feel so lucky to have met such amazing people.
This picture pretty much sums up our class in Primary.
Aren't they great?
