OH MY.

My to-do list is never ending.
I am so sorry I have been lacking on the blog posts lately.
(And yes, I realize I still have the Christmas header up... I'm working on it.)

There is so much going on right now, but it is all so exciting.
Once things slow down a little I'll be sure to fill you in on all the details.

Today...

I am thankful for Cafe Rio.
And for the friendly mail man who greeted me with a smile as I walked to school.

And for the lovely young man who gave up his seat for a young lady in class.

And for the yummy banana bread that my cute roommate made last night.
And for my friends who make me laugh when I am down. 
And for the sunshine that is finally melting away the ice.

Today was a good day. And I am so thankful.

Cold.

Alright, that's it.

I can't take it anymore. 

This bitter cold weather is KILLING me.

I don't mind snow, or even a little cold front here and there...

but THIS is just ridiculous.

It has been so cold for days on end that now the once beautiful snow has turned into ice.

The other day while walking home from school, I biffed it… and hard.

Luckily, I only walked away with a few scrapes on my hand and tried my best to laugh it off.

Thank goodness for my warm puffy coat and my black leggings. 

It's gonna be a long winter. 

Ashlie and David.

Last week my good friend David Dance got married to cute Ashlie Lohner! 

They got married in the Dallas Temple, and had their reception at the gorgeous Vaquero Country Club.

It was so fun to be reunited with all of our friends and to see families that I haven't seen in years! 

I am so happy for them both and wish them the best!

Back-to-school.

Is it really time to go back to school?

The break just went by way too fast and school just appeared out of nowhere. 

I'm already missing Texas, but it feels good to be back in action and on a routine again.

Winter semester usually seems to be the longest, but I've decided it is going to be a great year. 

I made a list of goals I want to accomplish this year and cannot wait to see what is in store.

San Antonio.

Just got back from spending the last few days in San Antonio visiting family.
It was so good to see cousins and both grandparents!
