Spring is HERE.

Blossoms are blooming, the sun is shinning and I could NOT be happier!
Spring is finally here!
After having some long winters the past two years, it's nice to have this wonderful warm weather so early.
I don't want to jinks it, but I'm thinking winter is pretty much over!
I guess that means it is time to put away my boots and coats, and get out the shorts and sandals.

Ohhh how I just die over Kate Spade spring/summer collection this year...
all the florals, colors, and prints just make my heart melt!

Hope everyone is enjoying this sunshine!

Seattle/Canada.

Every year for spring break my family comes up to Park City to go skiing, but with the little snow and warm weather we decided to mix it up a little and head out to Whistler, Canada!
Whistler has always been a top place I've wanted to visit, so I was thrilled when I heard we were going.
We flew into Seattle and stayed there for 2 days, then drove up into Canada for a full week of playing in the snow and skiing.
The whole trip was such a dream and very relaxing!
There is really no way to describe how beautiful it is, but here are a few pictures to give you a taste.

Anddddd I'm back!

Like I said in my previous post, I've been on quite the traveling kick lately!
I am constantly getting asked by people if I am still in school, and the answer is YES.
With this being my last semester, I am only taking 3 classes so it's been pretty easy to take time off or to find time to make these little trips.
My job is also pretty flexible so I figured I might as well take advantage of the free time I have before I face reality.
I have so many pictures from my adventures that I want to share with you, so I will probably break it up into two posts.

A few weeks back I got to go out to New York once again for a long weekend.
The trip was both for business and personal pleasures, so all around it was a fantastic little get-away.
With graduation coming up (yikes) I've been interviewing and meeting with a few agencies
in New York, so I'm hoping to have something set in stone come May/June.
I also got to see a few friends that I just ADORE.
We basically spent our time eating at the most delicious restaurants and sampling every single cupcake at Crumbs.
Let's just say my pants got a little snug towards the end of the trip...

Travel bug.

I've been on a traveling kick lately, and currently in Canada for some spring skiing!
I have never skiied in a more beautiful place and the snow is seriously magical.
Once I get back to the states I'll be sure to share some photos of where I've been the past few weeks.
I hope everyone is enjoying their week!

Girls just want to have FUN.

A few weeks back I had the chance to help plan an 11-year-old girl's birthday party.
I'm not sure who was more excited... me or the birthday girl!
I picked up Rissa from school and took her to the party store where the aisles were lined with every color and party accessory imaginable.
We had so much fun planning the activities, food, and decorations.
I forget that at this age kids start having strong opinions about what they like/don't like,
so my brilliant idea of making it Valentine's themed ended up not being so brilliant. ;)
We ended up working around her favorite colors and some of her current interests-- all of which came together just perfect.

It ended up being quite the party and quite a success!
(pardon my iPhone pictures once again...)

Now if only my birthday parties could still be this girly and fun...
